Hotel | Stay comfortable with us in Visby Harbor. Scandic Visby has an unbeatable location just opposite the ferry terminal with 10-minutes walk to the medieval town centre. As our guest you have free access to gym, pool and relax with sauna. In the restaurant, guests can relax with a good well-cooked food after season.

The hotel underwent an extensive rebuilding and extension 2013. Today we offer 214 rooms in several buildings, each building is named after a Gotlandic fishing village. All rooms are tastefully decorated with Gotland Feeling in the room categories: double room, family room and suite. Several rooms are equipped for disabled and in some rooms, pets are welcome. The furniture in the hotel rooms are made of Grötlingbo Möbelfabrik on southern Gotland who helped us with the furnishings and design.

As guest at Scandic Visby you can swim, sauna and work out for free. You also have the option of booking a massage / acupressure. A few days a week we are visited by a certified Masseur / Akupressör. The large outdoor pool is open from June to September and the warm hot whirlpool under the stars is open all year.

The Hotel restaurant Koggen is open for breakfast guests and diners in the evenings Monday-Saturday. Summertime extended opening hours. Group bookings are received throughout the year. Conference facilities with several modern meeting rooms for up to 85 people.

A unique aspect of the hotel is that we offer good parking facilities (even for coaches) and many ground-floor rooms with furnished patios for a relaxing stay. It’s a 5–10-minute walk from the hotel to central Visby, through the lovely Palissaderna park. A limited number of Scandic bikes are available for lending.
